1. About our service
Local Solar Quotes is a free comparison service operated by Local Rebate, which is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration reference ZC107920. Local Solar Quotes is a trading style of Local Rebate. We connect UK homeowners with MCS-certified solar panel and battery installers. We are an introducer only. We do not design, supply, install or maintain solar systems, and we are not a party to any contract you enter into with an installer.
2. Eligibility
To use our service you must be at least 18 years old, resident in the United Kingdom, and the homeowner (or authorised to make enquiries on behalf of the homeowner) for the property in your enquiry. By submitting the form you confirm that the details you provide are accurate and that you are entitled to provide them.
3. How it works
When you complete our form, we use the information you provide to match you with up to three suitable installers in your area. Those installers may then contact you by phone, email or text to discuss your requirements and provide a quote. There is no cost to you for using our service and no obligation to proceed with any installer.
4. Quotes and estimates
Any prices, savings figures or estimates shown on our website are indicative only and are provided for general guidance. They are based on typical systems and average customer data, and your actual quote will depend on your property, energy usage and the installer's assessment. Final pricing is confirmed by the installer, usually after a survey. We do not guarantee that you will receive a quote, that you will save any particular amount, or that any specific product will be available.
5. Your responsibilities

- Only submit your own details, or details you are authorised to provide
- Use the service lawfully and not for any fraudulent or improper purpose
- Deal directly with the matched installers regarding quotes, surveys and installation
6. Third-party installers
Installers in our network are independent businesses. Any quote, contract, survey, installation, warranty or aftercare is provided by the installer and is a matter between you and that installer. While we take care in selecting network partners, we do not control their work and are not responsible or liable for their acts, omissions, products, services, pricing or conduct. You are responsible for carrying out your own checks before entering into any agreement.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the site without our prior written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
